First Week of March… 2010

To be a dragonfly I would need grand and delicate wings.
And it’s very nice to imagine such things.
To fly upon dragonfly wings.
To be a daffodil requires a stem, but stems don’t go anywhere.
I could be a daffodil without any feet.
With rivers of sun in my hair.
To be a pony I would need a field of grass so green.
But where can you go when it’s covered with snow?
I’ll not be a pony it seems.
I will be a bee and carry my honey over fields and flowers and lakes.
I know it sounds funny, but carrying honey is the best darn profession it seems!
